I saw that you posted these so i wanted to write something about this because its a later set. I like how you've gone back to a set and improved the pictures. I also like how you've kept the same composition by having the shower curtain the same but changed the surrounding area (ledge at top instead of mirror). I especially like the second image because of how intense it is just by having the outline of the knife which is different to when you have the physical knife in hand. It gives the sense of not knowing what is happening or about to happen - if you had a physical knife you may know it is about to foreshadow something or that it has been used as it looks old or had blood on or whatnot. Also the knife is facing away from you and pointing towards the other side of the bath which creates the sense of the person not wanting to hurt you but someone else - possibly something/one else in the bath? The 3/4 are very ominous - i have no idea whats there apart from some clothes hanging but i keep wanting to find something in the picture to help me so you've done that really well. the red is really powerful and delves more into the story your photos are trying to tell. Also the pictures are subjective which adds a personal touch for the audience in your work as we try to work out whats going on and if we have any similar experiences
